All Competitors in Squad Battles Must Agree to the Following.
These rules are subject to change at any given time per the management staff of this organization. Failure to follow these rules will result in a meeting with management, and your privilege to participate in squad battles could be revoked.
THESE RULES ARE NOT FULLY COMPLETED, MORE WILL BE ADDED! PLEASE STANDBY FOR UPDATES ON THE RULES, WHICH WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN THE UPDATES CHANNEL EVERY TIME THESE RULES ARE UPDATED.
Tournament registration will be open for 24 hours before the tournament rosters are due (2 hours prior to the start time).
If you do not register for the tournament on time, you cannot participate! The only exception for this rule is if you had an issue registering. This issue must be brought up to Watts in order to be included. By registering for a tournament, you are agreeing that you are available to play at the designated time and for the remainder of the tournament. If you are not able to play, your team will need to play with one less player because substitutes are NOT allowed unless otherwise permitted by Head of Ops. You have until the registration closes to cancel your entry. To cancel, message Head of Ops or an available tournament manager on Discord.
Rosters must be sent in with the registration.
Each player that is participating in the tournament must be online and ready to play 15 minutes prior to the start of the match. If you cannot meet this requirement, let your Staff Sergeant know! Teams will forfeit a match if they fail to have the legal players or subs in the lobby 15 minutes after the start time, unless noted otherwise.
We encourage that you use the voice channels on Discord while playing in matches for better communication. This is mainly for communication with other players rather than your own teammates. Just know the voice channels are there in case you need them.
Separate documents will be linked for the rules of each game when it comes to game modes or restrictions.
If the game is lagging to the point where it affects the outcome of a round or major objective, follow this protocol: Record a 30 second video including the scoreboard and send it to an Officer or Director.
If you host with wrong rules, or use a banned item, even if the map is played out you can still be forfeited for it.
When it comes to forfeits in general, if a team is told they are forfeiting, it applies to the map being played rather than the entire series, under most conditions. If a team is found to be cheating, other than using a banned item, they could forfeit the series. Some of the reasons you can forfeit a match are found below.
-Using a banned characters
-Using a banned trait
-Using a banned weapon, perk, lethal or tactical
-Using the banned version of a weapon (Ex. Using the Assault Rifle version of the RPR)
-Wrong Game Settings
NO TOLERATION FOR FIGHTING, BULLYING OR ANY CLOSELY RELATED NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR!
If this happens during the tournaments, you will be removed from the team and a different player will replace you for the rest of the tournament. If this were to happen during a game, the game will first be completed, then you will be removed from the tournaments that week.
If you consistently put out bad behavior, such as bullying or fighting, your ability to participate in future tournaments will be discussed by management. There is a slim margin for second chances, so don’t take the risk. Think before you speak as it could also reflect on your future in the clan/organization.
